7 ways to reduce exam stress

 Exams are an inevitable part of our education system. With exams also comes exam stress and tension.

It is necessary to identify the stress and reduce it, if not it will adversely affect your exam performance.



1) Mediation

It's the best technique for reducing exam stress. Mediation means being present in the moment. 

Mindfulness meditation can help you to stay aawathetmomentent and not worry about the future or past.


2) Excercise

   You also may experience that after Exercising you feel more energetic.

Yes, that's true exercising improves your mood. If you feel stressed about an exam fear

Go for a little walk or if you don't have enough time for that.

Do some simple exercises, do some push-ups or sit-ups

Make sure that your body gets some movement.


3) Deep breaths

 It's a simple method to reduce Stress,

When you feel stressed your breathing became shallow and hence only less oxygen is supplied to your body.

Take some deep breaths, use your abdomen to inhale, and exhale slowly.

This will increase the oxygen supply to the blood and reduce stress.


4) Stay hydrated

  Drink enough water not only when you feel stressed, stay hydrated when you are studying. This will improve your focus and concentration and help reduce Stress.

5) Take a break 

 You feel stressed about your exams while studying. So take a break, may the exam will be on the next day still, take a short break that's necessary.


6) Talk with friends

 Feel free to talk with friends about the exam tension, they might be experiencingcing the same.

Don't spend too much time talking but speak openly a good conversation can 

Lift your mood.


7)   gentle with yourself

 It's okay to feel stressed. Accept that and be gentle with yourself. Most of the students struggle with exam stress.

It's normal to feel stressed before exams

It's all about how you handle this. Don't be hard on yourself. you can overcome this

There are many more methods to manage stress. The most important thing to say is don't get too hard on yourself.
